Turmeric Paste Recipe
This turmeric paste can be kept in the refrigerator for several weeks. It is used daily by adding a teaspoon in fruit shakes or apple juice or any other beverage. Start with small amounts if you are not accustomed to the taste, because it can be bitter in larger quantities.

Preparation of turmeric paste:
1/4 cup turmeric powder mixed with 1/2 cup water and cook over medium-high heat for at least 7 minutes, stirring constantly. It will form a thick paste. It can be added water if mixture is too dry. After cooling, may be stored in a refrigerator in a glass vessel.

If you mix black pepper with turmeric or add it to a dish spiced with turmeric, it increases biological effects of Curcumin by 1,000 times, because the substance that gives pepper pungency feature is called piperine. And if you mix turmeric and black pepper together, turmeric absorption by the human body increases by 2,000%!
